Jerry is currently the Construction Managers Network Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity of Washington State. Prior to assuming this position he was the Construction Manager for South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity at the time this affiliate was considered a leader within the Habitat community for its Built Green philosophy and homes. He firmly believes in and has fostered Green building for Habitat for Humanity homes throughout the Northwest. He has been actively involved with all aspects of construction of Habitat homes for over ten years, Jerry is passionate about building the very best quality homes possible, even though he's on a tight budget. He is passionate in his belief that people should live in environmental healthy home especially the economically disadvantaged families. He retired from the US Navy as a Chief Warrant Officer. He has an associate's degree in Horology (watchmaking) and a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Anthropology from The Evergreen State College.
