Hard Hat Tours

The NW EcoBuilding Guild is excited to launch our Hard Hat Tour events!
A unique, members-only opportunity to explore sustainable building practices from the inside out! These guided tours will offer exclusive, behind-the-wall access to active job sites showcasing cutting-edge materials, high-performance systems, and forward-thinking construction methods that embody the Guild’s mission of advancing sustainable building.
Each Hard Hat Tour will feature in-progress (mostly residential) projects that exemplify innovation in energy efficiency, water conservation, healthy materials, and resilient design. Attendees will gain up-close insight into what makes these buildings stand out — from air barriers and insulation detailing to solar integration and adaptive reuse strategies — and engage directly with project teams to ask questions and share knowledge.
Whether you’re a builder, designer, verifier, or curious advocate, these tours are an invaluable way to deepen your understanding of what sustainable building looks like before the drywall goes up. Don your hard hat and join us as we go beneath the surface to learn, connect, and be inspired.
