Elizabeth Diane is a loving defender of nature and the planet, offering her passion and help to the NW EcoBuilder’s Guild with occasional blog posts and behind-the-scenes additions to this website. Elizabeth brings 40 years design experience in the fields of sustainable residential design, site planning and development, civil engineering, land surveying, and some marketing, graphics and website design. She has a BA with an emphasis in Sustainable Building and Furniture Design from The Evergreen State College. She is Owner/Designer of Lucid 9 Design since 2004 and currently lives in Mt Shasta, CA where she founded Bee Well Hive NFP, 501.c.3 for “Nurturing Wellness and Building Resilient Community in Mt. Shasta and Beyond Borders”. Elizabeth’s most recent focus is on affordable housing solutions, community build projects and designing for – and learning to build with – hemp-lime (hempcrete).
