ming | architecture and design was founded by Grace Huang in 2001 to specialize in sustainable and healthy home building practices. Our projects are located throughout the Puget Sound region and our work has been recognized by green building programs and publications. Our custom home projects range from small remodels to whole new houses. We think of ourselves as the owners' coach and guide in the building process, and approach the house as a tailor would a well-fitted garment - the house needs to look and feel great for those living in it.

We are Solar Experts. Our lead electrician, Briggs Nieman, is a NABCEP-certified solar installer and a professional electrician who grew up living off-grid. He has been installing solar, as a supervising electrician for over 12 years.

Greenhome Solutions is a family owned and operated green building product supplier based in Seattle, Washington. We are passionate about the environment, conservation, design, and sustainable building practices. With over 20 years in the construction industry, we pride ourselves not only on product knowledge, but also on installation techniques and knowing which green building materials are right for your project.

Balderston Associates provides comprehensive third-party verification, energy modeling, code compliance, training, and other sustainable building technical expertise. We participate in the following third-party certification programs: LEED, Built Green, Passive House (PHIUS+), ENERGY STAR, Net Zero Homes, HERS, and more. We work with builders, developers, non-profits, and homeowners to help provide sustainable building technical expertise for projects in WA.
