Low Carbon Concrete – 4/23/2025

Join NWEBG as Rouzbeh Savary from C-Crete Technologies and Don Davies of Davies-Crooks Associates, as they take us on a journey to explore cement-free concrete alternative founded by C-Crete Technologies. C-Crete’s binder is a drop-in replacement for Portland cement that drastically reduces carbon emissions. Given that our product meets industry standards and has cost parity with conventional concrete, it opens up an entirely new era in construction.

Don Davies is the Co-Founder of Davies-Crooks Associates. A mission driven consulting and adaptive re-use development practice focusing on lowering our climate impacts on the planet. We support AEC industry leaders, government, and non-profits for creating impact at scale.  Don Davies is owner of a building in Seattle that used approximately 60 tons of the cement-free concrete were poured in the foundations and shear walls of the Seattle project at 7200 Woodlawn Street, an adaptive re-use development of a 120-year-old historic brick building that used concrete as part of a seismic retrofit.
